QUOTA SPAS Scholarship 2007

Since 1980, the South Pacific Area members of Quota have pooled their resources and established a generous bursary program for speech and hearing related study.

The SPA Scholarship has grown into a major awards program and has benefited more than 40 scholars from Australia and New Zealand. Kirsty Gardner-Berry was one of those recipients and has pioneered a new method for infant hearing screening. Click the heading for more.

Quota International was formed in 1919 by Wanda Frey Joiner.

Quota links members of all ages, occupations and nationalities in a worldwide network of service and friendship.

The Quota SPAScholarship application year commences 1st August to December 30th (post marked) in any given year. The winner will be notified the following year in March for travel for travel by 30th December of that year.

eg. If an application is received by December 2008, the winner will be notified by March 2009 for travel until the 30th December 2009.
